The festival is held on a beautiful meadow in the middle of a lush forest near the village of Tenetiše, Slovenia. There is a beautiful lake 5 minutes walking from the stages. Swimming in the lake is unfortunately banned due to its area nature protection status.

Nearest town with a shop and everything else you might need is Kranj, 10 km from the festival.

DROPS FESTIVAL & NATURE CONSERVATION

Drops festival gives special emphasis on nature conservation and protection. The festival is held in a biologically diverse area, and this is why we have to take special measures in order to protect it.

As you well know, the whole of Europe is facing a severe drought due to climate change and golf courses for the rich and this brings additional measures we have to take this year.

These are the festival rules regarding nature protection:

  • NO CAMPING IN THE FOREST – your tent will be removed if you do so.
  • ENTRY IN THE STREAM AND ANY INTERFERENCE WITH IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED
  • THROWING TRASH ON THE GROUND IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED
  • USE TRASHBAGS THAT YOU WILL GET ON SITE
  • ABSOLUTELY NO FIRE!
  • NO SWIMMING IN THE LAKE (sorry about that, not up to us)
  • NO INTERFERENCE WITH THE FOREST
  • NO ENTRY IN THE FENCED-OFF WETLANDS
  • USE ONLY DESIGNATED TOILETS
  • NO SOAP
  • LIMITED SHOWER TIME DUE TO SEVERE DROUGHT
  • NO PARKING OUTSIDE OF DESIGNATED AREAS
  • PLEASE TAKE SPECIAL CARE OF THE FOREST & THE SURROUNDING AREAS!
